Privacy Policy

Hello Poko is a casual wellness reflection app. It helps you check in about food, movement, mindset, rest, and small daily patterns without calorie counting, step counting, weigh-ins, workout-minute logs, ads, or social feeds.

What We Collect

We collect the information needed to run the app:

• Your account email and account identifiers.
• Your onboarding preferences, such as guide tone, focus areas, areas to avoid, and goal note.
• Your check-in messages, coach replies, daily summaries, and reports.
• Your reminder preferences and app settings.
• Subscription entitlement status from Apple's in-app purchase system.
• Operational records such as request timing, rate-limit counters, AI usage counters, and error metadata.
• Support messages you choose to send us.

What We Do Not Collect

The current app does not collect food photos, calorie logs, body weight, workout minutes, contacts, friends, precise location, or advertising identifiers. HealthKit is not used in the current build.

Payments are processed by Apple. Hello Poko does not directly receive or store your full payment card details.

How We Use Data

We use your data to:

• Provide check-ins and coach replies.
• Create daily summaries, weekly insights, monthly insights, and summary-to-date reports.
• Sync your account across devices.
• Let you export or delete your account data.
• Prevent abuse and manage AI usage costs.
• Improve reliability and support.

AI Processing

Hello Poko sends relevant check-in context to OpenAI through our backend to create coach replies and summaries. The OpenAI API key is not stored in the iOS app. We do not intentionally send more context than is needed for the current reply or summary.

Sharing

Sharing is user-initiated. You choose when to share or save an insight card or export file. Revoking shared links can disable public report links when link sharing is live, but it cannot pull back texts, emails, screenshots, or files already sent outside the app.

Data Controls

You can export your account data, revoke shared links, and delete your account from Settings.

Children

Hello Poko is not intended for children under 13.
